Its ok

Its ok, nobody in my area seems to use it though so for the price I dont care to re subscribe personally unless it picks up. Grande Prairie, Alberta

Crashes now

Used to work great. Was starting to see more sightings in Quebec. Then, lately it always crashes. Alone on phone or thru the AppRadio....crashes. iPhone 5s, Pioneer radio

Great app, but newest update drains battery

Ive been using this app everyday for over a year and love how well it works, until the latest update. After updating I noticed that my GPS was being used 24 hours a day, even though I completely closed the Escort app from the background, it now keeps using my GPS all day long. FIX THIS PLEASE!!!!!

Glitchy right from the beginning!!

Speedometer in left corner do not work, music streamed from DI app stops when Escort app is active on the screen. It logs in every time its brought back from background. Havent test it on the road yet new review soon. App freezes! It doesnt work at all on iOS 6.0

Update for Canada

My passport max and escort live, doesnt indicate the accurate Km, instead of 60km/hr it shoes 59km/hr and 95% of the roads doesnt show the speed limit.. Please fix this. There are so many Canadians that use your product. Make us happy.

9500ci

It doesnt see my detector even though Ive checked the connection many times. Also the fact that it costs when a similar App Waze is free.

logic failure

living in rural canada i dont see a lot of system alerts. having said this, on road trips, the full functionality becomes apparent. i would continue using thus app just as an interface to my STI and be happy. the large speed display is almost worth the price. so: most useful on road trips. road trips most often take me out of cellular data range. the app will not start unless it can connect for account verification or whatever. so, can be somewhat useless on road trips. mm. perhaps garmin could re-code to allow operation as an interface to the radar detector without connection, connecting when such connection becomes available?

Cette application est cool.

750k city and only 1 radar reported

I live in Edmonton Alberta the radar capital of Canada. I paid the $6 bucks for this pos app and it only shows 1 radar. I drove by 3 photo radar trucks and many more fixed at stop lights. Give me my money back Escort rip off!!!

Road trip swift current,Calgary,Edmonton,Saskatoon.

As we start my trip on the 1# to Calgary. 8am 5km out ka maple creek hit 3 times ka Lazer. Albert border Lazer.then ka at 3km Medicine Hat ka Lazer at 80km on the under pass with photos. On the #1 you dont see too much for escort live but ones you hit the citys it helps out a lot we live up dats from Calgary to Edmonton more people running the software got several hits of live updates over all my week long trip no tickets. Overall 55 hits out of this 33 I could got tickets that would cost me $6000.00 Im happy with it. Just need more to see how this works.

Excellent

Excellent app! Very helpfull for fixed radars and red lights cameras.

WORST APP EVER

I SAY THIS AS A COP HAS PULLED ME OVER FOR THE SECOND TIME LITERALLY RIGHT NOW DIDNT DETECT THEM AT ALL k bye

Great app and detector, but needs a couple things!

NEEDS AN UPDATE TO FIX THE COMPATABILITY issue WITH iOS 9.!!!! Otherwise I love the app when I can use it and love the radar passport max detector! Also there is no option to control the amt of time before the location services of the app shuts down, and that sometimes after the location services has shut down and you plug the radar back in it doesnt register the speed zone. Also when it doesnt register the speed zone, theres no refresh button on the live smart cord or app. If escort could address that, this would be a 5 star app!

Does what I wanted it to do

I give this App 3-Stars because the Escort Live App connected via SmartCord Live to my Redline does just what I wanted it to do. I doubt I will continue the subscription service after my One Year that was bundled with my SmartCord Live & Redline purchase. Nothing wrong with the service other than I doubt that Escort will get enough users to actually make it a value proposition. To bad they didnt partner with Waze in that regard - it would have been a killer solution.

Dumb!

I have had 3 escort radars in the past and I was going to buy the new escort 360 max radar and get this app, after reading the reviews and realizing its not free I changed my mind. Why use a database from escort with minimal users when waze has a better network for FREE! Dumb!

Not so bad, but not worth buying either.

I read about people who had problems with Bluetooth. I have no problems with Bluetooth and anything relating to communicating with the device. I have the 360 model and decided to DL the app. Its free for a year and doesnt really offer anything unless many other people use the app and share the locations etc. If the app had maps (like Google) that you could use and designate a destination, maybe it would be worth buying after the first year. Is an OK app, but nothing special. For what you spend for the best radar detectors from Escort. You should have a lifetime free service. Are you listening Escort? At least it works in my Dodge Charger with Bluetooth every time so far, but again, its only as good as the network.

Just fix the app already

Ive been using this app since 2013 with the same issues from day one. Fix the Bluetooth connectivity issue! iPhones 4 through 6Plus and there has always been and remains, a Bluetooth connectivity issue. Why wont you fix it Escort!?

Have the hard wire installed by a pro

I read the review bellow and it sounds like he may not know how to do a hard wire. And if it matters which it should not I am retired military also. My 360 detector works just fine and took a pro around two hours to install properly with its own fuse. As for the app it connected just fine through blue tooth as long as you use the settings in the phone as the instructions say and not through the app, once done correctly my phone and detector always see each other through blue tooth without issues. The mapping software looks like google maps to me and the only draw back I can see is that it relies on reports from other people using it so unless many are then speed traps may be missed. I do recommend this product and reading independent reviews about it and the 360 detector. I believe most will be happy.

Nickel and dimed!

Paid almost $1k for the radar and now the app wants money to subscribe every month? Should have looked elsewhere.
